Since children have such a high capacity for memorization, I am wanting to gift our little ones the valuable foundation of Latin for all of their future language acquisition and comprehension. This summer, we have begun a simple Latin Club with five children: weekly meetings, an age-appropriate curriculum (Latin Song Book), and varied activities to incentivize the discipuli. It would be most advantageous to progress over the years---slowly yet surely---through to Wheelock's Latin, the definitive English curriculum in the Latin language. Even our little Anna, not quite three, is understanding the basic exchanges: "Salve Anna!" "Salve mater!"
