While the boys are at tennis practice, the girls and I try to pass the time by reading, listening to music, talking, or finishing homework. Last week, we watched a movie. This is Claire and Anna watching Mr. Darcy's failed marriage proposal to Elizabeth Bennet. Although I haven't read Pride and Prejudice to the girls just yet, it was funny to watch the girls' reactions to the dramatic cinematic plot. Look at Claire's eyes! She kept saying to her sister, "Anna, I think this is a LOVE STORY!!!" Anna is less invested and perhaps even dubious about Mr. Darcy's intentions. I think at least Claire is a fellow Jane Austen fan in the family (smile!).
