Theodore's Godfather, our wonderful friend, Dr. Eugene Tesdahl (and his beautiful wife, the Rev. Jasmine Tesdahl), affectionately calls our Theo "Baby Ocho"---not many children these days have the privilege of being Baby Number Eight!!! When we shared this funny epithet with our friend Caterina, she said that this tradition of naming children after their birth order is fairly typical in her native Italy---there are plenty of Octavias Caterina insists. But the best part is the family Caterina claims to know who named one of their babies "Finalema" as in finale or final (smile!). Who knows!? As a family open to life, we could end up with any number of numbered children. St. Catherine of Siena was one of twenty-five!
