Among many other New Year's Resolutions (I love New Year's Resolutions!---yes, seriously!), 2017 is the year of deep cleaning. On a literal level, I am deep cleaning every room in the house. The kitchen is close to being done: just the grout on the floor needs some serious attention. Il ramona soigneusement ses volcans en activité. I'm trying to pair the physical housecleaning with the spiritual too, a kind of meditation, prayer in the Benedictine style. Emotional patterns that follow the same conduits, pathways, conclusions: might I clean up this volcano, and this one, and this one too. A contemplation on kindness, compassion, peace. A tuning-out, a sweep-away, when it comes to anything that impedes this cleaning-up process. J'aime le petit prince!
