Have you tried Ina's maple-roasted carrot salad?!? I switched out the Marcona almonds for walnuts, and another time I switched the goat cheese for feta. Any way I make it, this salad is my new constant craving. Because so many of my favorite recipe traditions come from The Barefoot Contessa, I ended up writing Ms. Garten a thank-you note for being such a huge part of my family's culinary life.
