I have a few favorite indulgences when it comes to taking care of a newborn:
Petit Bateau onesies (so soft and basic)
Little Giraffe satin/chenille blanket (soft, soft, soft)
Aden + Anais burpy bibs (these actually stay on my shoulder)
Sophie the Giraffe teether (cutest, most indestructible toy)
Cetaphil (used with cloth wipes, this is much gentler and cheaper than disposables)
Diaper Champ (this diaper pail uses regular garbage bags and is near-odor free)
a scarf for nursing (this one's from Anthropologie)
Serena and Lily crib sheets (I hate wrestling with crib sheets…these actually fit with room to spare)
Of course, I've also salvaged out of storage the crib, the stroller, the baby carrier, the pack-n-play, the mini-baby bathtub, and the used baby clothes for new baby: she's due to arrive any day now!!!
